ITINERARY DETAILS
DAY 01 : TRIVANDRUM – ALLEPPEY
On your arrival at Trivandrum International airport/ railway station, meet our executive to Welcome & receive you and drive to Alleppey to board on to the Houseboat at 12:30 hrs. A cruise in a Houseboat is one of the best ways to enjoy the beauty of Alleppey Backwaters. The Kerala Backwaters are a network of interconnected canals, rivers, lakes, and inlets, a labyrinthine system formed by more than 900 kms of waterways. Kerala was ranked as one of the “50 destinations of a lifetime” by National Geographic Traveler with the houseboat and backwater tourism in Alappuzha seen as leading factors. Houseboats are the modern forms of kettuvallams or rice boats which were used as ferries to carry rice. Lunch on the houseboat and later cruise through the narrow canals of the Vembanad Lake. The boat moors on the lake for the night by evening. After dark you can enjoy a delicious dinner to the sound of water lapping the side of the boat. The houseboat with all safety equipment like lifebuoys, lifejackets, fire extinguisher. Also the houseboats with all licenses from pollution control, port authority, and others. Enjoy the ride; delicious cuisines and an overnight stay onboard.
DAY 02 : ALLEPPEY – THEKKADY – PERIYAR TIGER RESERVE
Today after breakfast check-out from Houseboat and drive towards Thekkady, the Wildlife destination of Kerala. It’s also known as the spice bag of the state. You can enjoy a beautiful journey through the hills and valleys of Western Ghat to reach this jungle destination. Check-in your hotel and later go for an optional Kathakali show, Spice plantation visit, elephant ride, or an Ayurvedic massage treatment there. Also have an amasing boat ride in Periyar Lake which flows through the Periyar tiger reserve. You will have chance to watch the wild animals like elephant, Bison, Sambar, Deer etc are roaming the both shore.

DAY 03 : THEKKADY – MUNNAR
After breakfast check-out from hotel and Later drive to Munnar hills (130 kms), the green Paradise of Kerala with unending expands of Tea plantations, spice plantations and a variety of flora and fauna. On the way visit two beautiful waterfalls as Cheeyappara and the foggy Tea meados across the hills and valleys.
Check-in your hotel and after noon at leisure you can go to visit Munnar town and nearby places & Overnight stay.
DAY 04 : MUNNAR SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, Sightseeing travel to echo point, Mattupetty lake and dam Eravikulam national park, tea museum, kundala dam, photo point, shooting point, top station, tea plantation tour, hydel park, rose garden, bating national park, elephant ride etc.
Overnight accommodation at hotel.
DAY 05 : MUNNAR – COCHIN
After breakfast check-out your hotel and drive towards sightseeing at Historical Fort Cochin which has a rich heritage and strong historical relationship with English, Portuguese, Dutch, Arabs, Chinese etc. You can visit Dutch Palace, Asia’s best preserved Synagogue, Chinese fish nets, Sea mouth, by evening you can visit marine drive for a cruise around the cochin ship yard, island, and local market.

DAY 06 : COCHIN – ATHIRAPPALLAY WATER FALLS
After breakfast, check-out from your hotel and proceed to hotel Athirappallay, after some rest later drive to Athirappally Water Falls, Said to be the ‘Niagara of Kerala’, the Athirapally waterfalls is a mind boggling site, which will definitely make you relaxed and rejuvenated. The largest waterfall of Kerala, Athirappally forms over Chalakudy River in forests of the Western Ghats. A must visit place in Kerala, Athirappally always refreshes your mind making you forget all the busy schedules of your life. The splashing water, the soothing climate, the greenish nature, everything is fresh at Athirappally. Athirappally is the best spot for an adventurous trip. Trekking deep into the forest is something that will never fade away from your mind. The 80 feet waterfall will be at its fullest during the months from July to September. This is the monsoon season of Kerala and the beauty of the waterfall during these months is above words to explain. The water falls from a height falls down and hits the rocks below, the droplets will splash upon your face. If you are planning to take snapshots of this beautiful falls, it will be somewhat a difficult task for you. The droplets will play with your lens…The roaring falls is wild and you must be careful while climbing over the rocks, as it may be slippery.

DAY 07 : ATHIRAPPALLAY – COCHIN DROPPED OFF
After breakfast, check-out the hotel and you will be taken to Cochin International airport/ railway station for onward journey to your home town with sweet memories…..
