Visit to Okhla Barrage for bird watching

DAY 01 : DELHI
Arrival in New Delhi, check-in the hotel after free. Stay overnight in hotel.
DAY 02 : DELHI
After breakfast, go to way Okhla Barrage in the morning for some bird watching. In the afternoon set up for sightseeing tour of the Capital city of India, visiting India Gate, Qutab Minar & Humayun’s tomb and driving past the President’s House. Return back to hotel and stay overnight in hotel.
DAY 03 : DELHI – NARKANDA
In the morning board a train to Chandigarh from Delhi. Drive to Narkanda stopping en route for birding. Spend night at the hotel that comes equipped with all the modern amenities.
DAY 04 : NARKANDA – SANGLA
Drive leisurely to Sangla exploring through the breathtaking gorges of the Greater Himalayas. Rejoice an evening bird walk at Sangla. Stay overnight in tented camps.
DAY 05 : SANGLA
Drive down towards Chitkul, the last inhabited village surrounded by green fields and high mountain peaks. Stopping on the way for birding en route. In the evening return back to Sangla and stay overnight in tents.
DAY 06 : SANGLA
Enjoy the bird walks around fort Kamru and Sangla. Stay overnight in tents.
DAY 07 : SANGLA – SARAHAN
Proceed to Sarahan a beautiful village dominated by Srikhand Mahadev peak and surrounded by apple orchards. The Srikhand Mahadev peak closely resembles to the shape of Shivlinga and Bhimakali temple is a major attraction to visit. Rest and relax for the day bird watching. Enjoy visits to the Phesant Breeding Centre for more recreation. Stay overnight in hotel.
DAY 08 : SARAHAN – TIRTHAN VALLEY
Depart to next bird watching destination Goshaini via Jalori pass & Shoja. Shoja, a small village with a large number of alpine trees and thick forest makes an untouched habitat. On arrival over here enjoy delicious lunch and later on stroll down to the forest logging road into the pristine Pheasant countryside. The major attractions to be captured includes Kaleej, Monal, and Koklas. In the evening leave for Goshaini. Stay overnight in tourist lodge room at Tirthan valley.
DAY 09 : TIRTHAN VALLEY
Start your morning taking a bird walk towards the Great Himalayan National Park. In the afternoon walk downstream along river Tirthan. Stay overnight in tourist lodge room at Tirthan.
DAY 10 : TIRTHAN & BANJAR VALLEY
Take a visit to Jibhi and Bahu for bird watching. Stay overnight in tourist lodge room at Tirthan valley.
DAY 11 : TIRTHAN VALLEY – BHUNTER AIRPORT – DELHI
In the morning drive to Bhunter From Tirthan, board a flight to Delhi. After arriving Delhi get transferred to the hotel and stay overnight in hotel.
DAY 12 : DELHI – ONWARD DESTINATION
After morning breakfast, go to bird watching in Delhi Zoo. Relax in afternoon, and transfer to the airport for journey ahead.
