One of them is Jallianwala Bagh, which was witness to one of the most tragic episodes in India’s history, the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Today, a memorial, in the shape of an eternal flame, stands dedicated to those who lost their lives in this unfortunate incident. This itinerary also lets you watch the entertaining guard changing ceremony at the Wagah border. The changing of guard ceremony is packed with entertainment. The lively drills and dance like movements is a sight to watch.

ITINERARY DETAILS
DAY 01 : ARRIVAL IN AMRITSAR
After your arrival in Amritsar, get in touch with representative and get transferred to the hotel.
Rest for some time and after freshen up, make your way to the Harmandir Sahib, popularly known as the Golden Temple.
You have the full evening free you can spend it at your own leisure. One of the things which you can try out is the Amritsari Naan which can be enjoyed at any of the local dhabas and restaurants.
Stay overnight in hotel.
DAY 02 : AMRITSAR
After enjoying your breakfast, visit the Jallianwala Bagh. This place is associated with one of the most unfortunate episodes in history known as the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.
In this unfortunate episode, many innocent people lost their lives in a massacre carried out under the command of General Dyer.
You can visit the Wagah Border and witness the exciting guard changing ceremony in the evening. This ceremony attracts a lot of people.
Return back to your own hotel in the evening for an overnight stay.
DAY 03 : AMRITSAR
After enjoying your breakfast, check-out from the hotel and visit the local market for some shopping. After that, get transferred to the railway station to catch the train back home.
