OVERVIEW

There are bundle of stories and legends interwoven in and around the holy cave of Amarnath among which one tells that it is in this cave only that Lord Shiva explained the secret of life and eternity to his divine companion Parvati. Every year thousands of devotees set off for the Amarnath Darshan Yatra to feel the eternal spirit of the trinity god Shiva. The naturally formed ice-lingam, the phallic symbol of Shiva in Amarnath Cave, has been a venerable spot of pilgrimage for thousands of years.

ITINERARY DETAILS

DAY 01 : ARRIVE SRINAGAR – SONAMARG

On arrival in Srinagar airport, meet our representative who helps you with transfer to your hotel at Sonamarg.
After dinner, overnight stay in hotel at Sonamarg.

DAY 02 : SONAMARG – BALTAL – AMARNATH JI – SONAMARG – SRINAGAR

The next day begins early after breakfast and a small drive of around 15 kilometers to reach the helipad at Baltal. You can then take a small helicopter ride from Baltal to Panchtarni and back. When you reach Panchtarni, you can take a walk or hire a pony to a spot that is called the holy cave. After a stopover to the cave, you can come back by helicopter and then come Sonamarg. Later drive for Srinagar.
On reaching, check-in to hotel and after dinner, overnight stay in hotel at Srinagar.

DAY 03 : SRINAGAR SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast, drive for Srinagar local sightseeing. We leave for Nishat Garden which is also known as the ‘Garden of Pleasure’. Then we move on to the Shalimar Garden, which is an epithet of Love. It was built by the Mughal emperor Jahangir in love for his wife, Noor Jehan. Then we visit the Pari Mahal, Shankaracharya Temple.
The evening ride on the Dal Lake in Shikara (Direct base) is also a part of the day.
Then we get back to the hotel in Srinagar and after dinner overnight stay.

DAY 04 : SRINAGAR DEPARTURE

Morning after breakfast, check-out the hotel and drop at Srinagar airport.

Helicopter Fares are subject to change/ any change in the package subject to natural calamity or any subject to enforce is to be paid by the travelling passenger at the time of travel enroot:
Due to Bad Weather Helicopter flight is cancelled, next day’s accommodation has to be taken care by the guest directly. The Schedule flight is canceled due to bad weather or technical reasons, advance booked passenger would get the priority next day. A helicopter ticket has to be stamped & signed by the officials of Helicopter Company at Baltal or Srinagar for refund.
